Kindly read the following information before registering your
child in TIS-Aden
A)
ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Once you have decided to register your child at TIS- Aden
he/she has to take entrance exams in English Mathematics
and Arabic.
Having taken entrance exams does not guarantee the registration.
Your child has to show a responsible level of success in
these exams to be accepted by TIS-Aden.
To start the admission procedure, you have to bring the
following requirements:
1. Last
certificate from previous school.
* Approved and attested by the Ministry of Education in
Yemen.
2. Birth
Certificate.
* Non-Yemeni Students must bring a copy of passport.
* Non- Yemeni Students must bring Acceptance Form from the
Education Office.

Photos.
4. Medical certificate.
5. Copy of job permission.
6. Immigrants form.
B)
REPORT CARDS POLICY
" All the students (Arabic native and non-native speakers)
must study Arabic subjects and take the monthly exams and
final exams conducted by the TIS-Aden in directions of the
Ministry of Education in Yemen. TIS-Aden is not going to
issue any kind of authenticated school certificate to those
who intend not to study the Arabic subjects.
C) ACADEMIC CALENDAR:
" Academic year starts at the beginning of September
and lasts till the end of May
School Hours:
The normal school hours are from 08:00 a.m. to 13:05 p.m.
Saturday to Wednesday. Students have to be at school by
07:45 a.m.(Ramadan timing will be announced before Ramadan
begins)
" Coming on Thursday will be subject to class teacher's
request.
School Holidays:
" Weekend: Thursday & Friday
" Official holidays as directed by the Government of
Yemen
" 1st term holidays
" Annual summer holiday (after 2nd term exams)
